A Dream Realized is an Incredible Thing

Having grown up in a world of comic books, skateboarding, and straightedge/punkrock, my love of art and tattooing began at an early age. Since the day I got my first tattoo, I fostered the dream of being the one tattooing instead of being the one tattooed. Being young and easily intimidated by the mystiques of the tattoo world, these dreams were put on hold and I drifted into a successful career in the computer world. But I was not satisfied, and my unsatisfied dreams festered. When I met my wife, a fellow artist, she encouraged me to give up computers and do what I really wanted. I began the slow process of learning to tattoo. With a thirst to learn, I embarked on a new way of life, and what was once intimating became a world of wonder. Two years ago, I opened a private studio and have been professionally tattooing since. Whether I am working on a custom piece or flash, I am in my element. I adhere to strict sterile procedures and stay abreast with current issues and product and technique innovations.
